NO-BAKE CINNAMON GINGERBREAD ORNAMENTS

I love to make a special ornament with my children every year for their Grandparents. This year we are going to make no-bake cinnamon gingerbread men ornaments. (This is a non-edible dough recipe).
What you will want to do is make the ornaments with your children and then let them decorate them with paints and maybe glue some buttons for eyes..etc...

This recipe will make 12 ornaments!!

Ingredients:
1 cup ground cinnamon
3/4 cup applesauce

Directions:
1. Blend cinnamon and applesauce in mixing bowl. Stir until a stiff dough forms.
2. Roll out dough to 1/4" thickness
3. Cut into shapes with the cookie cutters
4. Poke a hole in the top to tie a ribbon on
5. Air-dry several days on a wire rack, turning occasionally

(Important to remind your kids that they cannot eat this dough.....major tummy ache will happen!!)

We will post pictures of our creations after they are completed!!
