Materials Needed:
1 dozen eggs and a mixing bowl

Cracking eggs without breaking the yolk or getting egg whites all over your hands takes practice.
  1. Show your children how you break an egg into a bowl. Ask them....How did I hold my hands? How did I pull the egg apart?
  2. Now let your children try! Ask them....Did you do a perfect job the first time? Keep trying until you begin to feel comfortable about cracking eggs.
  3. Use the eggs to make something fun with your children like scrambled eggs or a yummy egg omelet. Refrigerate any unused eggs for up to three days

  4. What did you teach your children? Determination!! If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
