Glitterful Felt: "Tell us about your company"

Sew Suzanne: "I am a stay at home mom homeschooling our 2 girls (6yrs & 4yrs) and loving it! I am married to the man of my dreams who allows me to pursue just about anything I want!! I started our company - SewSuzanne, as a way to sell the pillowcases and bags I was creating and got so many compliments on. Everyone would say "you should sell these!", so I started too! I started first attending craft fairs with my sister, but really wanted to find a broader range of customers, with alot less hassle. I heard about Etsy.com on Good Morning America, (of all places, right!) and looked into it. We have been there ever since!! I just can't say enough about how great Etsy is. We opened in November 2008, and have recently made some improvements to bring us more success. We revamped the shop throughout May and June and are very pleased with the results. We added our Facebook Fan Page, and a new page on Indiepublic as well to try and drive more traffic to the store. And what I think I am most proud of is our packaging and brand are 100% Eco-Friendly, comprised of all Green materials! It was a lot of hard work, but I am so glad we did it, as our shop is more successful than ever!"
