Premieres Monday, January 31st at 9pm (ET/PT) on Lifetime
This weekend Steve and I had the opportunity to pre-screen the movie Taken from me: The Tiffany Rubin Story. It was one of the most powerful moving movies that I have seen in a long time. It had me at the edge of my seat for most of it. I remember the part when she waved good-bye to her son and I got chills down my arms. There were even some parts of the film where I saw a little tear in Steve's eye.
The film is based on a dramatic true story of Tiffany Rubin’s (Henson) daring 2008 rescue of her six-year old son, Kobe, after he was abducted by his biological father and taken from his home in Queens, New York, all the way to Seoul, South Korea.
It was about a Mother's quest to not give up and fight for her child.
Immediately following the movie at 11 PM ET/PT, Lifetime will premiere an all-new hour-long documentary, Beyond the Headlines: The Tiffany Rubin Story.
