Is Your Sunscreen Giving You Protection? See how your sunscreen is rated!

I recently got this new sunscreen to review and I was immediately in love! Suntegrity is a chemical free, Vegan and cruelty-free sunscreen. It has NO Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oils, Synthetic Dyes, Sulfates, Paba, Titanium Dioxide, Petrochemicals, Nano-Particles or Chemical UV Absorbers.

Suntegrity was designed by the owner in memory of her Mother and all of those who have lost their lives to skin cancer. Tricia Trimble, owner, is using her Mom's experience as a positive catalyst for change. She created a holistic, mineral sun care line to help promote people avoid skin cancer.

I was researching the product on their rating with the Environmental Working Group. They had #1 rating! Here is an example of the 2010 ratings. Be prepared to be shocked and want to re-think your sunscreen!

Score Key: 0-2 recommended, 3-6 caution, 7-10 avoid
  • Suntegrity Skincare #1
  • Obagi #2
  • Dermalogica #3
  • EltaMD #3
  • SkinCeuticals #3
  • SkinMedica #3
  • Coppertone #5
  • Cellex-C #5
  • Aveeno #7 (Which I used before reading this report!)
  • Banana Boat #7
  • La Roche-Posay #7
  • Neutrogena #7
I was shocked when I read this report with these rankings of the skincare lines that I was currently trusting to keep me safe. With the amount of sun exposure I get it is important that I re-think my sunscreen and I'm now moving to Suntegrity. You can also get new updates on Suntegrity's facebook page.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
