Enter to win Tickets to Six Flags Magic Mountain! #coastertour

The Dahlin family is traveling across the United States on a three week tour stopping at every Six Flags along the way. They are going to be traveling in this cool black Ford Flex. They are going to be saving money across the United States using their Discover card, the official credit card of Six Flags theme parks. We headed up to meet the Dahlin family at their first stop at Six Flags in Los Angeles. We had an opportunity of a lifetime to drive-up along the coast in a brand new cherry red Ford Explorer, or as my kids would call it "our red hot rod."

When I first got the explorer I did not think it would be large enough to handle my large family. I was surprised to see how we were able to fit seven people comfortably plus have extra room for all our gear. It was so light and zippy compared to the land barge I normally drive.

Did I mention that this car also got amazing gas mileage? On my normal car I usually get around 7 miles to the gallon - this car gets 17 miles (around town). The drive to Six Flags was almost 200 miles round trip and we only used 1/4 of a tank of gas.


The Dahlin family is such a great family. We enjoyed spending some time with them within the park. The father Kurt Dahlin is a long time coaster enthusiast and has the popular blog The Coaster Guy. He had every tip to help make our time within the park enjoyable. We were sad to say good-bye, but happy we could continue to watch their tour online via their coaster to coaster website and twitter.


My family had such a great time at Six Flags. It was our first time going and we could not believe how much fun it was. There was a huge section just for younger children to enjoy. There were not even any lines, so the kids could just keep riding their favorite rides multiple times.

    57. I'm entering again because my boyfriend will be very upset if I don't try my best to win these tickets. The last time we were there, he made me go on like 3 crazy roller coasters in a row, and then I ate pizza. All I kept thinking was, "I'm too old for this!" but then I went on Colossus and I remembered how much I love crazy roller coasters ;)

    99. Honestly, one of my favorite things about going to the park is seeing the Loony Tunes characters. Last time I was there, I was so excited to take a picture with Tweety Bird. I was a little kid again ;)
