Make Yourself a Priority #Nourishwhatcounts

I had written last month about how valuable a healthy lifestyle is to me. I also realized how serious is it to focus on not only taking care of my family, but also myself.

I could come up with a gazillion excuses of why I do not have time to exercise. Exercising has never been something that I have enjoyed doing, but I love the results it gives me. I feel refreshed, energized, and happier.

Over the past month, I have been making myself a priority. Whenever I find that I have a free hour in the day, I drop everything and head to the gym. I have lost 9 pounds this month, just from taking that small step to ensure I am working out at least 3x a week. I have also dropped two sizes!!

It feels terrific to be able to put on my jeans, that once felt quite snug, and then have the jeans falling off of me. I will not stop, and I will continue to make myself a priority. In the end, I will be a better Mother, wife and friend because I did.
