Baseball Gear for Orphans Service Project #OdwallaCFK

My boys love to play baseball. There are so many children around the world that would love to play baseball too, but they are missing one important thing - the equipment.

I grew-up spending all my free time doing volunteer work. Now that I am a Mother, it is important that I also teach my children the importance of giving back to their community. Champions for Kids has inspired my children to want to do more service projects in our community. When my kids learned that their favorite  drink had paired up with Champions for Kids, they were super excited about participating.

Andrew is going to be collecting old sports gear from his baseball team, and then sending it to an orphanage in Mexico that we visited three years ago.

With two boys playing baseball, I am down at the fields at least three times a week. While we were at Walmart early this week, we purchased some Odwalla for the team snack. Andrew is going to be passing out the Odwalla juice to his team mates, and tell them about his quest to collect their used sports gear.

Andrew is going to be collecting his money from recycling to purchase more equipment at Walmart to donate to the orphanage in Mexico.
