I have loved grapefruit since I was little, but the fruit has always been a little too tart for my kids. I decided to try making it the way my Mom used to make it for me (minus the cherry on top). It is really easy to make, and the kids will love it!
- 1 grapefruit (sliced in half)
- 2 Tbl. of brown sugar
- 2 cherries (optional)
Slice the grapefruit in 1/2.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, and then broil on high for 5-10 minutes. (until the sugar has caramelized) Top with a cherry, and enjoy!
