Teriyaki Burgers with Sweet Potato fries and Garlic aioli

I was feeling a little tropical tonight, and since I could not fly to Hawaii - teriyaki burgers would have to suffice. I used gluten free buns, and sweet potatoes instead for regular potatoes. The result was a tropical paradise, that the entire family loved!

I took 2 pounds of ground beef, and added one packet of Lipton's soup mix to it.

I mixed it up well, and then made it into patty's before hitting the grill.

Next I had my husband help with cutting the pineapple.

I grilled the pineapple for about 10 minutes (on low) on each side.

Then I tossed it with Teriyaki sauce.

Then it was time to make the sweet potato fries. I peeled, and sliced one large sweet potato.

Then slice it into thin slices. Add 2 Tbl. of olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Then cook the sweet potatoes on a foil lined cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

The garlic aioli is super easy! Just mix 1/3 cup of mayo, 2 tea. of basil, 1 garlic clove, and juice from 1/2 of lemon. Mix and enjoy!

The final touch on the meal were the gluten free buns.

These were just as fluffy as traditional buns, and we could not even tell they were gluten free.

I brushed a little olive oil on the buns, before putting them on the grill for about 3 minutes.

We were provided with the buns for no charge, however, their tastiness did not influence our thoughts and opinions.

    1. Naw..don't feel bad at all. I don't believe that it is gluten free. I would just use onion powder to be safe.
