Ella's Yellow Belt Ceremony

Ella has been learning Tae Kwon Do in school since the beginning of December. When I got the email from her teachers about the ceremony for her yellow belt, I thought they were just passing out belts - boy was I surprised.

All of the children had been learning discipline, listening, and cooperation skills while in school. To top off the excitement from the ceremony, I got to hold a thick piece of wood while Ella used her skills to chop it in half! Yeah - this did make daddy a little jealous!

Ella is my new hero! Such a rockstar!

This probably was not the best time to take a picture as she almost did a Kung Fu into my face!
