Healthy After School Snack: Sunbutter Granola Bananas

We are a peanut-free house, and after the recent peanut butter recall, I am happy that we are. Even my peanut butter loving husband has found that Sunbutter takes better than peanut butter, and it is much healthier.

I have been making these Sunbutter snacks for the kids after-school, and they loved them. The best part is that if you have kids who don't like brown spots on their bananas (like mine) this will easily mask those spots so your kids will eat them.

Supplies needed:

  • Bananas
  • Sunbutter
  • Granola

  1. Coat the banana with Sunbutter. Then roll the banana in fresh (homemade if possible) granola.
  2. Enjoy!
