Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes

We did a lot of cooking this weekend while we were off for Thanksgiving. One of my kids favorite breakfast dishes is pancakes. Since my older son has a food allergy, making allergy-free pancakes can be a lot of work without a box. I have been using an allergy-free mix for years, and it makes pancakes super easy to make.

I love getting my kids involved in cooking with me, and they love being a part of it.

I mixed the pancake mix per the box instructions. For the cinnamon swirl I mixed:
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 2 Tbl. of brown sugar
  • 2 Tbl of cinnamon

I added the cinnamon swirl to the top of the pancakes and viola ~ delicious pancakes!

Enjoy!

  3. Yum! Have you tried Kim Arthur gluten free pancake mix. It's sooo good! I'll have to try this the cinnamon next time.

  4. We would eat those so fast...exactly the kind of thing to have me avoiding a scale for days.

  5. Oh my gosh is it that simple? Pancakes terrify me. Mine always end up looking like the aliens in the Mos Eisley Cantina in Star Wars.
