We did a lot of cooking this weekend while we were off for Thanksgiving. One of my kids favorite breakfast dishes is pancakes. Since my older son has a food allergy, making allergy-free pancakes can be a lot of work without a box. I have been using an allergy-free mix for years, and it makes pancakes super easy to make.
I love getting my kids involved in cooking with me, and they love being a part of it.
I mixed the pancake mix per the box instructions. For the cinnamon swirl I mixed:
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 2 Tbl. of brown sugar
- 2 Tbl of cinnamon
I added the cinnamon swirl to the top of the pancakes and viola ~ delicious pancakes!
