Sleepless Nights Paired Perfectly with Starbucks Coffee #DeliciousPairings

Sometimes it is extremely hard to take a little kiddo shopping with me at Walmart. This weekend, Andrew left for his first camp away from home. My youngest son, Tyler is clearly picking up on my stress of having my older son leave home for the first time (as you can see in the picture above).

I knew that I would have many sleepless nights without being able to have contact with my son while he was gone.

The best solution to sleepless nights is Starbucks Coffee. I went to Walmart to purchase my favorite blend of coffee so that I could have a good supply stocked up over the next week. While I was shopping at Walmart with Tyler, I noticed this display in the bakery. It showed me the perfect bakery items to pair with my favorite blend of coffee.

Then a Walmart employee helped me to find the perfect treat to pair with my Starbucks coffee. I purchased the Caffe Verona Starbucks coffee and the chocolate chip muffins that the display suggested I pair together. Since I really do need to get some sleep while my son is gone, I got the decaffeinated blend to hopefully calm me enough to get the rest I need.

When I got home, I brewed the coffee and added some foam to make it into a latte. The coffee was delicious and flavorful.  It was perfectly paired with the chocolate chip muffins, bringing out the delicious flavors of the chocolate in the muffins.

For the last couple of days, I have indulged in the delicate combination of milk and dark chocolate with caramelized sugar in the Caffe Verona Starbucks Coffee. It has a blend of full-bodied blend of Latin American and Asia/Pacific coffees that tasted like there was melted chocolate swirled inside of my coffee.

Another one of my favorite blends of Starbucks coffee is the Blonde Veranda Blend. This is a lighter blend that I also enjoy drinking on a regular basis.

I enjoyed sipping on my cup of coffee in the backyard while reflecting about Andrew's time away at camp. The coffee calmed me, and helped me to relax about the stress of him leaving.

It was not long before I was joined by my two other kids, Ella and Tyler. They enjoyed eating the rest of my muffins and spent the afternoon with me on the patio.
